Who am I?

Hi, I’m Andreea Popa — also known as the Digital Marketing Mentor behind SocialDmentor (“I”, “me”, or “my”). I run a one-woman show based in Romania, and I’m committed to protecting your privacy and personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit my website socialdmentor.com (the “Website”), whether you’re browsing, subscribing to the newsletter, or filling out a project inquiry form.

1. Children Under 13

This Website is not intended for children under 13 years old. I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you are
under 13, do not use or provide any information on this Website or on or
through any of its features on SocialDmentor, make any purchases through
the website, use any of the interactive or public comment features of this website or provide any information about yourself to me, including your name,
address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you
may use.


If I learn I have collected or received personal information from a child under
13 without verification of parental consent, I will delete that information. If
you believe I might have any information from or about a child under 13, please
contact me at info@socialdmentor.com.

2. What I Collect

I collect two types of information:

a) Information You Provide

  • Newsletter Form: Your email address, so I can send you emails and updates.

  • Project Inquiry Form: Your name, email address, and your selected budget range. This helps me understand if and how we can work together.

b) Information Collected Automatically

I use tools like Google Analytics to understand how people use SocialDmentor. This includes:

  • IP address

  • Browser type

  • Location (general)

  • Pages viewed

  • Time spent on the site

This data helps me improve the Website experience.

3. How I Use Your Info

  • To respond to your inquiries

  • To send email updates (only if you subscribe or opt in)

  • To improve the Website’s performance and user experience

  • To tailor content and communication based on your interests

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Ever.

I am committed to keeping your e-mail address confidential. I
do not sell, rent, or lease our subscription lists to third parties, and will
not disclose your email address to any third parties.

I will maintain the information you send via e-mail in accordance with
applicable federal law.

In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, all e-mails sent from me will clearly
state who the e-mail is from and provide clear information on how to contact
the sender. In addition, all e-mail messages will also contain concise
information on how to remove yourself from our mailing list so that you receive
no further e-mail communication from me.

My emails provide users the opportunity to
opt-out of receiving communications from me by reading the unsubscribe
instructions located at the bottom of any e-mail they receive from me at
anytime.

Users who no longer wish to receive my newsletter or promotional materials may
opt-out of receiving these communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link
in the e-mail. 

If you subscribe to my emails:

  • I’ll only send you relevant content

  • You can unsubscribe at any time

  • I won’t share your email with anyone

7. GDPR Rights (for EU users)

If you’re in the EU (like me!), you have the right to:

  • Access the data I hold on you

  • Request correction or deletion

  • Withdraw consent

  • Lodge a complaint with your local data authority

the extent that you provided consent to me processing of your
personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, without
affecting the lawfulness of processing based upon consent that occurred prior
to your withdrawal of consent.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority that has
jurisdiction over issues related to the General Data Protection Regulation.

I require only the information that is reasonably required to enter into a
contract with you. I will not require you to provide consent for any
unnecessary processing as a condition of entering into a contract with me.

8. Data Storage & Security

Your information is stored securely and only for as long as needed to serve the purpose you agreed to. I use secure tools and never send sensitive data via email.

9. Legal Jurisdiction

SocialDmentor operates under Romanian law (EU) and complies with GDPR regulations. I also strive to comply with U.S. data regulations like the CAN-SPAM Act for newsletter communications. 

All contracts and services are invoiced from Romania.

10. Updates

This Privacy Policy was last updated on April 8, 2025. I may update it occasionally. Changes will be posted here with a revised date.

 Please note that no professional collaboration or exchange of services will take place without a signed legal agreement between both parties. An NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) may be required, depending on the nature of the project. All services are governed by the terms of the final and signed contract.
